Job ResponsibilitiesAssisting the Maintenance Manager on planning, scheduling, executing & coordination of all related Capex projects related to mechanical, electrical & civil.
Controlling & updating all PID, PFD, layout drawings, shop floor drawings of the plant; filing in hard copies and soft copies parked in server.
Planning, scheduling and executing Master time-based maintenance (PM) schedule on mechanical equipment including mechanical integrity at the plant, tank farm, and utilities area.
Planning, scheduling and executing Master time-based maintenance (PM) schedule with external contractors in carrying out timely preventive maintenance programs on mechanical and environmental protection systems including mechanical integrity in order to maintain the best possible working condition.
Responsible for the smooth operations of all the Utilities equipment (Boiler, thermal heaters, incinerator, air compressor, chiller, cooling tower, nitrogen system, poor air system & natural gas system).
Identify and maintain stock for critical spare parts using SAP software on mechanical items to ensure uninterruptible production activities including creation of Material in Material Master.
Leader for conducting yearly stock count & submitting report on critical spare parts for mechanical & electrical.
Lead department's risk assessment & HAZOP follow-up action and review effectiveness of control measures.
Coordinate with gas MALAYSIA on supply of Natural gas and other matters via E-Service Portal system (On-line service system).
Responsible for overall operations of WWTP, sewage and ensure discharge complies with standard B as per legal requirement under EQA which requires competent person (CePIETSO) to manage all environmental issues related to WWTP and sewage discharge.
Mechanical Integrity leader executing all activities relevant to MI, KPI & Plant assessment metrics.
Conduct reliability studies on critical equipment including mechanical integrity of the plant & Utilities and provide analysis (Reliability rate linked to equipment failure) and plan the type of suitable maintenance to be performed (CPM or SPM).
Analyze, coordinate with external service providers and propose (Energy efficiency financial calculation) on which equipment could contribute or have potential energy savings; the analysis should contribute to ROI not less than one to two years.
Responsible for Energy Efficiency Improvement Target for the maintenance department on a yearly basis & have indicators.
Ensure that process equipment is designed and maintained through recommended and generally accepted good engineering practices.
Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, scheduling and executing all works related to annual plant turn around (JKPP inspection) on mechanical, civil and normal shut down activities (Plant shut down).
Assist the department's risk assessment/analysis (OSH-RA, ERA, JSA & HAZOP) follow-up action and review effectiveness of control measures/mitigation.
Submit report on all Utilities (Steam, Gas, Boiler feed water, Softener, Nitrogen & Power) consumption on a monthly basis; alert the production department if energy target deviates from normal operating condition and do the necessary rectification.
As a member of IMS steering committee, continually contribute to improve the effective implementation and maintenance of integrated management system with no disruption of management standard certification and AIMS.
Participate as HSE Committee member to address issues pertaining to HSE.
Required Profile• Degree in engineering with at least 1 year relevant working experience in a chemical unit operation or at least 2 years in maintenance experience in project works.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Good leadership ability.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management system.
• Good skills in AutoCAD.
• Skills in handling engineering project works.
• Knowledge in Utilities operating equipment.
• Knowledge in CPM (Conditional Preventive Maintenance) & SPM (Systematic Preventive Maintenance).
• Knowledge in SAP.
• CePIETSO-PCP & CePIETSO-BP.
