Manager Advanced Planning Systemsto join us.
This position requires extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Advanced Planning Software tools like O9 or Kinaxis Rapid Response, combined with a strong technical background.
The role will be responsible for driving the implementation and optimization of APS solutions across the organization.
This includes deploying Pilot sites and then expanding to other sites using internal resources.
Additionally, this position involves training, monitoring, and driving the consistency of global application and tool usage, along with providing subject matter expertise.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation and optimization of APS tool.
Get Alignment on, Out of the Box, Foundational Use-Cases and Pre-Configured resources / Workbooks applicable for UCT Business Divisions.
Validate use-cases / User Stories and playbacks.
Provide inputs on Test strategy, Lead development of test scripts collaborating with System Integrators.
Monitor and Measure effectiveness of User Acceptance Testing.
Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Develop business analytics and site monitoring for effectiveness and measuring KPI's.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to ensure system efficiency and performance.
Work with IT and across operations to ensure there is effective use and support models for APS Tool.
Develop a strategy and build Subject Matter Expert training plan in the organization and evaluates the efficiency of the training.
Support global Subject Matter Experts driving them to create core training for the user base by providing inputs to Solution specific training and playbook by Leveraging APS Learning Sites.
Build and conducts the communication plan for Subject Matter Expert learning, sharing, and improving.
Act as the project manager for the change management projects and reports the status monthly to the management team through well written and oral presentations.
Propose and implement motivational programs able to sustain and improve culture on site.
Challenge the status quo driving a continuous improvement and breakthrough mindset.
Travel to UCT sites to perform similar functions and program rollout as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Extensive experience with O9 or Kinaxis Rapid Response as a technical expert and Business user.
Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex systems and processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive process.
Demonstrated ability to make a significant change in a variety of environments, with multiple learning.
Good leadership and influencing.
Experience in value stream mapping and process.
Knowledge of ERP relevant module(s) is preferred.
Educational/Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven track record of successfully implementing supply chain solutions.
Experience Requirement:
Experience in integrating O9 or Kinaxis Rapid Response with SAP is preferred.
At least 7 years' experience in supply chain management and operations.
At least 7 years' experience supporting O9 or Kinaxis Rapid Response from a subject matter expert side of operations.
