(Senior) Manager – Business Development (3PL Contract Logistics & Warehousing Sales)Develop and implement a strategic business plan for logistics to enhance market share and support the business growth strategy, considering market trends and emerging opportunities.
Drive the growth of the existing logistics business by identifying high-potential clients and market opportunities, while creating and executing sales strategies to secure new business and meet revenue targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver customized transport and logistics solutions that align with customer needs and expectations.
Strengthen business intelligence by building and nurturing relationships with both potential and existing customers, as well as key accounts.
Lead the logistics sales team by providing coaching, development, and technical support, particularly for regional sales staff, to ensure the achievement of sales targets in line with the overall logistics strategy.
Elevate the company's reputation and brand presence, fostering trust and loyalty among all stakeholders.
Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams, including operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality customer experiences.
Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the Contract Logistics or Warehousing sector.
In-depth knowledge of sales processes, with a proven track record in managing contract logistics sales and established industry contacts.
Ability to build strong, value-based relationships, with a focus on personal influence, impact, and professionalism.
