Senior Manager, Corporate CommunicationsJob Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Corporate Communications team.
You will be reporting to the Head of Marketing and Head of Corporate Affairs.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for media monitoring, producing and proofreading communication materials, translating content, overseeing the company's social media content, managing the production of the Annual Report and Sustainability Report, and driving various communication initiatives, including organizing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) events and press conferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Content Production:
Plan and manage the production of engaging social media content on a monthly basis, collaborating closely with the Marketing Team to ensure consistent alignment with overall corporate and brand messaging.
Media Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media outlets.
Develop press releases and other media materials to effectively communicate the company's news and updates.
Event Management:
Plan, coordinate and supervise company events such as press conferences, media interviews, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs for companies and related brands under the MYEG group.
Annual and Sustainability Reports:
Lead the coordination and production of the Annual Report and Sustainability Report, working with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure timely delivery.
Content Review and Translation:
Oversee the proofreading of all communication materials in English.
Manage the translation of key materials into Malay and Chinese.
Monitor Media Coverage:
Monitor and analyze media coverage to better understand the media's perception of the brand.
Team Leadership and Development:
Manage and collaborate with a team of communication professionals, including PR agencies, an international press release distributor, Integrated Annual Report advisors, and other key business partners.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as required, which may occasionally include working outside of regular office hours and on weekends to meet critical deadlines.

Requirements:
Ideally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
Experience in the Web3/blockchain industry is an advantage.
Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
Proficiency in Chinese and Malay would be an asset.
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across different levels of the organization.
A proactive approach to learning and self-development, particularly in acquiring new skills and knowledge related to communication technologies and tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other relevant software applications.
Experience with AI tools for content generation is a plus.
