Job Responsibilities: Reporting to the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible in leading and managing the finance function including Statutory and Management Reporting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Taxation, Compliance, Treasury and other corporate matters.
Handle corporate tax matters including reviewing tax computation and corresponding processes.
Review and monitor the financial positions and performance of the Company.
Oversee monthly consolidated Group account, monthly financial and management reports, quarterly reports and yearly audited accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with listing requirements.
Manage the company's financial requirements including preparing, reviewing and presentation of quarterly and year financial results, annual budget and interim profits and cashflow forecast, cash flow management strategies, accounting practices and internal controls, taxation, and audit in compliance with statutory requirements.
Oversee the processing and approval of expenditure, ensure compliance with the companys policies and ensure maintenance of appropriate internal control and risk management safeguards.
Responsible for all aspects of statutory financial management and reporting, budgetary, financial forecasting functions and corporate tax compliance.
Liaise with internal management and business teams and external parties such as auditors, company secretary, lawyers, bankers, tax agents, internal / external auditors and relevant authorities.
Job Requirements: Minimum degree in accounting or finance with professional qualifications such as ICAEW, CPA, ACCA or equivalent is preferred.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or at least 10 to 15 years experience in similar role, preferably with prior experience in logistics company.
Strong knowledge of MFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and strong stakeholder management abilities.
Proven ability to build, foster and maintain relationships with peers and senior management on strategic decision-making.
In-depth knowledge in financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, general ledger, consolidation of group accounts with foreign investment, tax and treasury functions.
Proficient in English, organized with strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure and tight deadlines.
