Responsible for managing the audit engagements from planning, execution, reporting and subsequent status follow-up of the Lahad Datu and Sandakan Audit Office.
Timely quarterly and annual audit reporting to the Head Office.
Well verse with governance, risk management and internal control process of the Oil Pam Plantation Industry.
Smooth day-to-day running of the Lahad Datu and Sandakan Audit Office.
Conduct ad-hoc assignments, including special review and investigations, as and when the need arises and/or requested by the Management.Job requirements:
Candidates must posses at least a Honours Degree in Accountancy and/or Professional Accounting/Auditing Qualifications. CIA qualification would be desirable.
Minimum 15 years of experience in internal auditing (or a combination of external & internal auditing) in the Oil Palm Plantation or related sectors (with at least 5 years in the Manager capacity).
Added advantage if with exposure in SAP environment.
Possess strong leadership and good interpersonal/communication skills and able to work under pressure to meet reporting deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Willingness to travel and stay in challenging locations/working environments.
