SENIOR MANAGER (INTERNATIONAL STUDENT RECRUITER)About the roleThe International Student Recruiter is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract and enrol international students at Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM).
This role involves identifying key markets, building relationships with educational institutions, agents, and prospective students, and representing the university at global events and fairs.
The recruiter will also provide guidance and support throughout the application process, ensuring a seamless experience for international applicants.
Success in this role requires strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of global education trends.
What you'll be doing
Developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing plans to achieve the company's growth objectives.
Overseeing the execution of search engine optimisation (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and other digital marketing initiatives.
Analysing website analytics and campaign performance to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
Collaborating with the broader marketing and creative teams to ensure a cohesive and impactful brand presence across all digital channels.
Managing and mentoring a team of digital marketing specialists to foster their professional development.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform the company's digital marketing strategy.
What we're looking for
A Bachelor's OR Master Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior digital marketing or search marketing role, preferably within the education or service industry.
Minimum 5 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, international education, or a related field.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
Expertise in search engine optimisation (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and other digital marketing channels.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on website analytics and performance data.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media management tools.
