ResponsibilitiesDevelop and secure business opportunities; effectively manage the channel to achieve maximum productivity and sales.
Service and build good rapport with clients, especially the local PIC.
Share up-to-date insurance advice with clients regarding policy coverage and Tariff/PIAM/Bank Negara rules and legislation affecting their insurances.
Attend to client queries and quotations promptly.
Ensure timely flow of information and documents to and from the client's office.
Ensure renewal notices and summaries are sent to clients timely and follow up until renewal is secured.
Review existing policies to ensure clients have sufficient insurance coverage.
Identify new prospective clients and endeavor to secure the business.
Keep abreast of market and industry trends to ensure our products and services remain competitive.
Monitor the profitability of clients to recommend suitable risk improvement measures and make decisions on rate/premium adjustments.
Ensure prompt collection of premiums due from clients in line with PIAM, Insurance Act requirements, and/or company rules.
Involve in the overall integration and coordination of Corporate Marketing business planning, expense budgeting, performance reporting, and project management of business objectives.
RequirementsDegree in any discipline or professional certification in DMII/AMII.
Minimum ten (10) years of working experience in the relevant insurance industry.
Possess good planning, execution, and analytical skills.
Successfully delivered on KPIs with a proven track record in production, recruitment, and business development.
Effective communication in writing, business presentation, and interpersonal communication across various levels of seniority.
Ability to lead by example with sound people management skills.
