Senior Material Planner

Job Responsibilities:
Basic knowledge of an electronic manufacturing environment, materials and processes.Basic knowledge of material planning fundamentals, scheduling, materials requirements planning techniques and manufacturing control systems.Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.Knowledge in SAP & MRP are an added advantageOversees the master planning process for some/ all customers at the site. Develops, plans, provides data, analysis, and recommendations to make strategic labour resource and equipment decisions.  Job Requirements:
Good knowledge of an electronics manufacturing environment, material and processes.Good understanding of specific customers' business, organization, products and processesBasic understanding of customer needs and demands.Good analytical and statistical skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.Minimum at least 5 years with relevant experience in manufacturing environment.
