Mechanical design creation process, throughoutcomplete NPI phase.Master concept andarchitecture engineering, providing mechanical engineering andknowhow.Assessments and recommendations e.g.,on material and process choices based on mechanical designprinciples, supporting design for perfection, longevity and magicalelements.Along with Master Architecture,Create mechanical constructions and make proof of concept by designreview, rapid prototyping &simulations.Work out with suppliers forexploration and product development, transforming proven conceptand architecture into productrequirements.Work closely with Qualityorganization and vendors to ensure product and processvalidation. JobRequirements: Education:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, ora related field is often required.
With proventrack record in mechanical design, specifically within the audio orconsumer electronics industry.
IndustryKnowledge: Familiarity with audio product design, includingspeakers, headphones, or other audio devices.
Technical Skills: CAD Software Proficiency, expertise in3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) for designingand modelling components.
Prototyping andTesting: Experience with prototyping techniques and knowledge oftesting standards for audio equipment.
MaterialSelection: Understanding of materials used in audio products foroptimal acoustic performance and durability.
Thermal Management: Knowledge of thermal dynamics, asaudio devices often require effective heat dissipationdesigns.
Problem-Solving: Strong analyticalskills to address design challenges and improve productperformance.
Collaboration: Ability to workclosely with cross-functional teams, including electricalengineers, acoustics experts, and manufacturingpersonnel.
Project Management: Skills to managetimelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.
OtherQualifications: Familiarity with Manufacturing Processes:Understanding of injection molding, metal stamping, fit andfinishing, CMF, tolerance analysis, stack up FMEA, and assemblytechniques relevant to audioproducts.Knowledge of Industry Standards:Awareness of regulatory standards for audio equipment, includingsafety and environmental guidelines.Stayingupdated with the latest trends in audio technology and mechanicaldesign tools is also crucial for an expert role in thisfield.Able to travel for tooling trial and/orengineering event at oversea. 1 months +/- 2weeks.
