Primary Duties:
Development Samples:Execute the development samples with the accuracy requirement defined in the tech pack and to deliver on the specified due date.
Costing:Responsible for the cost breakdown for Management final review.
Ensure it is within buyer's costing range.
If not, propose options.
Job Responsibilities:
Go to PLM system to check for new sample requests and retrieve tech pack.
Download artworks from the FTP site.
Discuss the artworks with Management for supplier allocation.
Prepare fabric & trim requests necessary for meeting samples and source new items to get the best cost.
Disseminate the artworks to suppliers to get comparative quotations.
Review tech packs and raise any callouts on discrepancies.
Coordinate with the technical team for styles with complicated sewing construction.
Prepare SRF.
Prepare the cost breakdown.
Monitor samples and strike-offs for submission.
Check the samples & strike-offs before sending to MMG.
Prepare the mill allocation; request for mini-markers & time study.
Issue fabric pre-booking and pre-capacity booking.
Upon order placement, issue actual capacity booking and CO allocation.
Do the proper handover to the Product Merchandiser team.
