As the Senior Operations Manager, you will ensure operational efficiency by overseeing all manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are met, and driving continuous improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role leads the manufacturing team, collaborates with other departments, and ensures compliance with safety and industry standards.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive manufacturing strategies to meet production goals, ensure print quality, cost effective, timely production and delivery.
Oversee the day-to-day manufacturing process of print jobs, quality control, and cost management.
Provide leadership to lead, manage, and motivate a team of production supervisors, engineers, technicians, and operators.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability across the manufacturing teams to achieve high performance and efficiency.
Collaborate and actively communicate with engineering, supply chain, quality assurance, and other departments to ensure seamless production operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall manufacturing processes.
Identify areas for improvement based on production metrics and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics to track progress toward goals and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to support ongoing manufacturing activities.
Prepare and manage the manufacturing budget, including forecasting, cost analysis, and reporting.
Promote a culture of safety, with the goal of achieving a zero-accident workplace.
Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing.Job RequirementsCandidate must possess at least Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the manufacturing industry.
Experience in managing budgets, forecasting production costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Strong decision-making, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to develop and enforce SOPs across departments.
Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach.
