Our client is a well-known manufacturer of gloves based in Perak. They are looking for a seasoned leader to manage the Packing operations for multiple plants.
Job Description
Lead and manage packing operations to meet daily targets, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
Oversee workforce deployment, training, and development to enhance team performance and engagement.
Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and maintain compliance.
Ensure smooth operation of packing conveyor lines, resolving issues promptly to maintain workflow.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for timely materials ordering and waste reduction.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management.
Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and promote continuous improvement.
Coordinate with departments like Planning, Quality Assurance, and Shipping for seamless operations.
Maintain and calibrate packing equipment, ensuring readiness and accuracy.
Uphold a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Manufacturing, or related field.
At least 10 years in packaging or production management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of packing processes, equipment, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proven ability to analyze data and drive process improvements.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP experience (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
