We are representing our client; one of the leading pastries and bakeries in Perak. Currently with 14 bakeries outlet in Perak, along with 2 hype and buzzing pastries cafés in Selangor.
Work Location: Bangi, Selangor
Working Hours :4am - 1pm/6 days. Off day on weekdays
Accommodation allowance provided (for outstation candidates)
Main Responsibilities:
Uphold top-tier quality and consistency across all pastry and bakery products.
Innovate and refine recipes, ensuring an authentic yet contemporary product offering.Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards in taste, texture, and presentation.Manage inventory of baking ingredients to ensure freshness and availability.Provide training and mentorship to junior bakers, cultivating a culture of excellence.Collaborate with product development and management teams to launch new and seasonal creations in line with market trends.Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and professional workspace.
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of relevant pastry or bakery experience.A culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts, bakery, or related fields.Proven expertise as a Pastry Chef, Bakery Chef, or R&D Chef, specializing in bakery innovations.Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and inspire a team.Deep knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and recipe creation.A creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for exploring flavors, textures, and presentations.Familiarity with food regulations, labeling, and industry best practices, particularly in bakery R&D.High attention to detail, ensuring strict adherence to food safety and quality standards.
