Job brief Join a leading multinational company in the tobacco industry as a Senior Payroll & Tax Specialist.
This role involves managing payroll operations, tax compliance, and compensation processes for both local and expatriate employees.

Responsibilities Coordinate and execute payroll and tax-related activities in collaboration with the Payroll Service Provider.
Maintain and update the database for expatriate compensation, benefits, and tax information, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Prepare and manage income tax filing processes in coordination with local tax advisors.
Collaborate with the Finance team to execute monthly withholding tax for expatriates and ensure adherence to local tax regulations.
Provide support in responding to government surveys, audits, and regulatory requests.
Administer compensation and benefits (C&B), including group insurance, medical checkups, leave management, and statutory benefit programs.
Manage Time & Attendance systems, including updates to schedules, overtime records, and leave reports.
Assist expatriate employees and their families with administrative support, expatriation, and relocation arrangements.
Coordinate with the Global Mobility CoE to address mobility-related requests and guidelines.
Support market transition projects, including digitalization initiatives in the P&ED (People & Employee Development) function.
Requirements Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
Proven experience in payroll and tax functions, preferably within a multinational corporation.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data into actionable insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel (including pivot tables), and reporting tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
