We are looking for a driven, proactive and analytical individual to join our Planning team. The planner will be responsible for analysing and interpreting sales and stock performance across product departments and countries as well as contribute to the further development of merchandise planning tools.
The individual must have excellent mathematical problem solving skills and able to handle large amounts of data. The planner will need to work closely with Category Directors/Buyers in order to optimize budget allocation to best performing categories and proactively trade the business to achieve sales and margin goals. He/she will need to possess strong people and communication skills. Being a fast paced and dynamic company working in the exciting environment of fashion e-commerce, the planner is expected to learn and grow significantly.
Responsibilities Monitor, report and interpret sales, margin and stock performance for all product groups and countriesProvide recommendations of actions to maximize sales and margin opportunities while limiting stock risk, demonstrating a deep understanding of key drivers such as sell-throughForward forecast sales and margin performance frequently, and translate forecast to stock budgets and assortment plansWork closely on a day to day basis with Category Planning Manager and Category Directors/Buyers in developing and actioning plansWork closely with Category Planning Manager and other planners in developing buying and planning tools to improve efficiency and accuracyRequirements Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics or equivalentAt least 2 years' work experience, preferably in business or financial planning/analysis (commercial or FP&A)Excellent understanding of MS Excel, knowledge of analytical tools such as Tableau a plusStrong communication and project management skillsHigh attention to detailsAble to work independently as well as in a teamWillingness to work in a multicultural environmentInterest in the e-commerce and fashion retail industries Wonder how it's like to build your career with ZALORA?
