About the roleThe Senior Process Engineer plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence by ensuring equipment operates efficiently, minimizing downtime, and maximizing productivity through industry best practices.
Serving as the critical link between Utility, Production, and Plant Maintenance teams, this role fosters seamless communication and collaboration to enhance overall efficiency. You will also contribute to sustainability efforts by optimizing resource utilization, minimizing waste, and improving energy and material efficiency.
Key responsibilitiesDevelop expertise in equipment management to ensure the efficient operation of processing and critical equipment, minimizing downtime and boosting productivity through the implementation of best practices.
Enhance the training and development of key equipment operators and maintenance personnel by tailoring programs for the maintenance and production teams. This will elevate their skills in handling complex equipment, leading to fewer errors and accidents.
Serve as a liaison between the Utility, Production, and Plant Maintenance teams, facilitating smooth communication and coordination to optimize overall plant efficiency.
Maximize resource utilization, reduce waste, and improve sustainability by optimizing energy and material usage, contributing to Kerry's sustainability goals.
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for future investments and technological upgrades, playing a key role in strategic planning and long-term growth initiatives.
Qualifications and skillsDegree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) with 5+ years of production engineering experience in high-velocity environments.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process standardization.
Skilled in AutoCAD, SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint; food industry experience preferred.
Proven leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and adapt to change.
Results-driven, process-focused, and committed to quality and timeliness in a dynamic global setting.
