Job Description: Senior Procurement Consultant (Short-Term)
Location: Malaysia (Onsite)
Engagement: Short-term (23 weeks starting 2nd or 3rd week of December 2024)
Experience Required: Minimum 5–8 years
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Consultant for a 2–3-week engagement to assist a diverse portfolio of clients in logistics, oil & gas (O&G), and financial services. The role involves conducting workshops, assessing procurement processes, and working with technical teams to propose modernization strategies.
Note: For consultants based outside Malaysia, travel, boarding, and lodging will be provided by GTS.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct focused workshops with business users to quickly assess existing procurement processes and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate current procurement applications and gather inputs for modernization initiatives.
Deliver concise and actionable recommendations to optimize procurement workflows.
Prepare and present a highlevel process improvement roadmap within the short engagement period.
Ensure efficient communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to achieve quick wins.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in procurement consulting.
Strong expertise in logistics, O&G, and financial services sectors.
Skills:
Proficiency in conducting rapid procurement process assessments.
Strong communication and facilitation skills to drive workshops and stakeholder discussions effectively.
Understanding of procurement modernization tools and methodologies.
Other Requirements:
Based in Malaysia or available to travel and work onsite in Malaysia for 2–3 weeks starting midDecember 2024.
