Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Product Designer with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience to join our design team. You will take ownership of the end-to-end user experience of our products and mentor other designers to help them grow their skill sets.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead the end-to-end design process, from discovery research to problem framing, ideation, prototyping, and user testing, into high-fidelity designs that will achieve a high impact on our business.
Find elegant solutions to user problems, and think critically from the user's perspective.
Understanding of user-centric design approach and promoting a common understanding of the intersection between design, business, and engineering.
Prototype multiple visual and UX concepts and then narrow them to the right solution.
Explain and rationalise the reasoning behind your product and design decisions to design team and internal stakeholders.
Leverage analytics to turn insights into high-quality designs to ensure solid implementation in production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine requirements and identify problems.
Collaborate with UX Writer to create a user experience that is not only visually appealing but also informative and engaging.
Research new findings and keep up with the current trends that could enhance the current experience.
Look out for and offer potential opportunities to other designers, as well as flag successes and concerns to design leaders.
Job RequirementsEducation Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (UX/Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Design, or similar degrees preferred).
Technical Skills:
Excellent technical skills in visual design and prototyping software (such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) with the capability to design wireframes all the way through to final UI.
Knowledge of human-centered design and familiarity with the end-to-end design process, including research, personas, concept creation, customer journeys, user flows, mockups, prototypes, user testing, and visual design deliverables.
Familiarity with design systems and branding guidelines.
Software:
Figma proficient (e.g components/ auto-layout/ etc) (MUST)
Adobe Creative Suite (Optional)
Key Attributes:
Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Product Design.
An online portfolio of professional work.
Keen eye for design, details and aesthetics.
Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
Passionate about identifying new design trends, technologies, and best practices.
