What you'll do:Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) processes to verify new or modified process or procedure produces conforming components that meet the specification detailed in approved technical data.
Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) processes to ensure timely completion and handover of new repair capability to Operations.
Perform and coordinate initial technical evaluation to assess new repair capability feasibility.
Conduct technical support to Operations for implementation of component maintenance and repair capability development.
Coordinate with vendors, engineering team and production personnel for on-job-training on new repair capability.
Collaborate with vendors for the development and provision of tools & equipment required for new capability development.
Support and coordinate training provision for production personnel on new tools and test equipment.
Ensure relevant Engineering Documents including Tools & Test Equipment (T&TE) Equivalency, Technical Instructions (TI), Engineering Order (EO), and Work Instructions (WI) and forms are maintained in good order.
Other Duties: Support audits, assist with risk assessments, and perform tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience: At least 5 years in aviation/aerospace MRO, including engines, components, and piece-parts.
• Skills:
Supervise New Product Introduction (NPI) and First Article Inspection (FAI).
Interpret technical documents (SB, AD, CMM, etc.) and understand industry standards (AN, AS, MIL, CAN).
Knowledge of aviation regulations (Part 145, Part 147, Part 66, etc.).
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
Safety: Familiar with safe work practices and compliance.
Industry: Relevant aviation/aerospace aftermarket experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
