Job Responsibilities
Master and supervise the manufacturing area of process control, pouring, mixing, and packaging.
Ensure proper workforce planning and fully utilize the production capacity to meet planning of order demand.
Manage the production area to achieve the highest level of safety, quality, productivity with compliance to ISO 22000 and meet the production specification.
Lead the production team to achieve all the production KPI and drive for continuous improvement.
Supervise production activities to produce quality products within the specification and stipulated timeline.
Work actively with the Quality team to drive for quality improvement.
Ensure safety and health procedures are adhered to, including wearing the appropriate PPE according to requirements at all times.
Develop the entire production team, line leaders, and operators.
Manage subordinates' performance according to expectations.
Ensure overall production complies with all ISO, GMP, and other regulatory requirements.
Ensure overall production complies with production SOP.
Ensure all production personnel are trained with the right competency to perform their job.
Manage subordinates' attendance, tardiness, turnover rate, and overtime.
Ensure material availability for smooth manufacturing activities.
Work closely with the warehouse on the material requirement, issuance, and return procedures to avoid any line down due to material availability.
Review audit findings and ensure all non-conformance issues and CAPA are handled promptly and closed timely.
Arrange work schedules and resource planning for entire production activities.
Meet production planning and resolve crises immediately to avoid unnecessary delays.
Maintain 5S and housekeeping at the production area and ensure compliance with hygiene and cleanliness requirements.
Lead safety & quality investigations in production and compile reports after the end of the investigation.
Actively contribute to safety observations and related committees.
Monitor production yield and investigate root causes if yield is out of specification.
Analyze manpower utilization/headcount model, space requirements, workflow, material flow, and design of production layout to be efficient and operate at optimum levels.
Provide information for management decisions pertaining to estimated production times, manpower requirements, and related costs.
Collaborate with other departments to achieve overall company business objectives.
Undertake job-related tasks as assigned by superior/management.
