Job Responsibilities:Supervise new erections, additions, and alterations (A&A) to existing buildings, including earth retaining and stabilizing systems, as well as specialist designs for demolition works.
Plan and implement the project, ensuring all construction activities on-site align with the master and detailed work programs.
Work independently and as an integral member of the Site Management team.
Prepare, plan, and submit project-related documents such as schedules, method statements, design plans, risk assessments, monthly reports, etc.
Supervise the execution of construction works to ensure compliance with contract specifications, construction drawings, the company's quality standards, Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) practices, and other contract documents.
Coordinate and liaise with the client's representatives, relevant authorities, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, etc., to address both technical and non-technical issues and document resolutions.
Plan and coordinate site works while resolving drawing details and discrepancies.
Identify potential and existing problems impacting the work schedule, offering solutions to the relevant team/department.
Liaise with clients or consultants for site inspections and technical report submissions, ensuring all necessary records are maintained on-site.
Assist the Contracts Department (QS) in verifying progress payments and claims from contractors.
Attend regular meetings with clients' representatives, consultants, and contractors to ensure project progress is on schedule.
Establish and maintain an effective document control system, conducting reviews of detailed design drawings, project documents, and specifications.
Job Requirements:A minimum of a Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or an equivalent field.
At least 5 years of project or site management experience, particularly in Demolition projects.
A driven individual with the ability to work independently and lead site management activities effectively.
Familiarity with wiresaw cutter and waterjet cutter methods for demolition is a must.
