To help with this, we're looking for an outstandingSenior Project Executive (Technology)– someone who is highly experienced in managing complex technology projects, skilled at leading cross-functional teams, and capable of delivering innovative solutions on time and within budget while navigating risks and stakeholder expectations, particularly in the realm of website development. They should have a strong understanding of web technologies, content management systems (CMS) like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and the ability to oversee development teams to deliver user-friendly, high-performance websites.
Our project work includes experience design and development, digital and social media campaigns, digital partnership activations and promotions, eCommerce and CMS implementations, CRM programs and branded content. What you'll do:
As a Senior Project Executive (Technology), you'll be responsible for overseeing and managing complex technology projects within an organization. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on project management, ensuring that initiatives align with the organization's business goals and are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Day-to-day, your role includes:Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, effort estimation and resource allocation strategies.
Monitor project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing requirements or unforeseen challenges.
Organize and participate in project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and follow up on action items.
Oversee day-to-day tasks of the project team, ensuring that each team member is on track with their assigned responsibilities.
Monitor risks, escalating issues and supporting mitigation plans.
Proactively address project challenges and roadblocks to ensure successful project outcomes.
Reporting and maintain up-to-date records of all project-related activities, decisions, and communications.
Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with the project's goals and objectives.
Coordinate and maintain regular communication with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, risks, and challenges.
QualificationsWe're looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:
A four-year degree and 2 to 5 years of experience in a direct marketing or software development environment with service delivery responsibility (preferably at a marketing agency)
Proven experience with popular Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Confluence or Microsoft Project
Strong ability to instruct, coordinate and manage vendors in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Demonstrated aptitude and interest in process management to create workflow and campaign execution efficiencies
Detail oriented, organized, and a master multi-tasker
Strong written and communication skills – you're articulate and poised
Excellent project management skills – you keep pace in a fast-moving environment
Ability to work independently and with large cross-departmental teams
