Our client is a Digital Media Agency present in Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia.
Role Description:This is a full-time hybrid role as a Senior Public Relations Account Executive in Petaling Jaya.
The role involves managing public relations accounts, developing strategic communication plans, overseeing media relations, and driving PR campaigns.
The Senior Account Executive will work closely with clients to deliver targeted PR solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Consultancy:
Lead, strategize, and execute media, PR, and social media initiatives for the Company and its clients, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
Provide expert consultancy and manage day-to-day client accounts with efficiency and effectiveness.
Guide and support internal teams in the development and implementation of integrated communication campaigns.
Client & Media Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships, actively contributing to business development efforts.
Secure media opportunities, including interviews, press conferences, and brand launch events, ensuring seamless coordination.
Build strong relationships with media professionals and collaborate with editors to enhance visibility.
Content & Campaign Management:
Draft and present PR strategies, communication plans, press releases, editorials, and key messaging for the Company and its clients.
Analyze and report on PR campaign performance, offering insights and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
Crisis Management & Brand Protection:
Develop and execute crisis communication strategies to effectively manage reputational risks.
Manage PR and media initiative budgets, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.
Collaborate with teams to strategize and deliver impactful PR solutions for both clients and the Company.
Additional Duties:
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the Company as needed.
Qualifications:
Public Relations, Communication, and Media Relations skills
Experience in developing strategic communication plans and PR campaigns
Strong writing, pitching, and presentation skills
Client relationship management and account leadership skills
Digital PR and social media management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Experience in the media or PR industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
