Senior Purchasing Executive (Plastic Injection Moulding)We are looking for a Senior Purchasing Executive specialized in Plastic Injection Moulding.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Research and identify potential subcontractors that can provide the necessary goods or services.
Evaluate subcontractors based on factors like quality, reliability, cost, and past performance.
Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors to ensure smooth communication and effective negotiations.
Request and review bids, quotes, or proposals from subcontractors.
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to secure the best deal for the company.
Prepare and issue purchase orders or contracts to subcontractors.
Ensure that procurement complies with company policies and project requirements.
Keep track of materials or services ordered, ensuring that the correct quantities are received.
Monitor and control the budget for subcontractor purchases to avoid cost overruns.
Work closely with project managers to coordinate the timing of deliveries and services.
Ensure that the necessary materials or services are available on site when needed to prevent project delays.
Ensure that subcontractors meet quality and safety standards set by the project or organization.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Ensure all necessary documentation is filed and accessible for audits or future reference.
Resolve any issues related to the procurement process, such as late deliveries, defective products, or payment disputes.
Regularly assess the performance of subcontractors, including delivery times, product quality, and cost efficiency.
Provide feedback to subcontractors and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
Knowledge of Procurement Software.
Knowledge of Materials Management.
Solid knowledge in Contract Law and its application regarding purchasing processes.
Ability to work independently and self-directed.
Language Requirements: Able to read and write English / Malay and Chinese.
