Responsible for assigned area to ensure no new quality issues being generated from the area by ensuring right process control, indicators, processes, systems, firewalls & etc.Job Location:This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience exciting different local cultures in this historical state. Nearby are malls and various restaurants. It is also close to recreation parks and a stadium.What you will be doing:Responsible for quality KPIs for area of responsibility as assigned by supervisor. i.e Sensor FOL.Drive operations/engineering team to continuously improve quality KPI by establishing and maintaining effective 8D process, right leading indicators/process controls and ensure defect reduction programs are effectively executed.Establish and maintain effective audit process to check compliance to control plan and past committed corrective actions.Work with operations team to ensure abnormal lots are effectively disposed to prevent quality issues.Responsible for implementation of manufacturing quality system within area of responsibility.Lead a team of IPQC/OQA to effectively implement process/product audits/QA Gates in area of responsibility, i.e Sensor FOL, Sensor EOL/Test as assigned by supervisor.What you will bring along:Bachelor's Degree in Electronics / Mechanical / Science or other Engineering related course.Minimum 2 years' experience in semiconductor environment.Well versed in 8D methodology.Knowledge in SPC, FMEA, PPAP, MSA and auditing is an added advantage.Able to communicate resolution of quality issues with customer.What can we offer you for your talent:Vishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage, financial support programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
