Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Accountable for oversight of product quality assurance from incoming to outgoing and be the contact point to customer and to ensure Quality KPI objectives are met.
Responsibilities
Proficient as lead representative to internal and external audits including but not limited to customer, certification bodies and regulatory requirement such as UL and Intertek.
Accountable for issuance and driving CAR (CCAR and ICAR) and 8D closure for external and internal quality incidences.
Investigate and resolve nonconformances and as appropriate lead in the completion of risk assessment with cross-functional team.
Develop and implement Quality Control plan for New Product to ensure compliance to customer quality requirements including pFMEA.
Perform First Article inspection for new products.
Determine validity of customer RMA request, coordinate and ensure RMA process close loop.
Proficient with reporting and publishing weekly, monthly and quarterly Quality KPI metrics.
Lead and mentor junior QA with QA data analysis, trending and reporting.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Drive customer complaint activities and follow up improvement task for greater customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for quality improvement program.
Scope of Authority
Analysis and decision making in product quality disposition at IPQC, FQC and MRB.
Control of issuance of Certificate of Conformance for every shipment.
Control of issuance and closure of NCR notice, CCAR and ICAR for in-process, outgoing and customer complaint non-conformance.
Determine validity of RMA request and responsible for RMA process closure.
Issuance of Stop shipment request in event of quality risk impact to customer.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5 years in relevant industry. Successful track record in previous companies.
Education Level: Minimum Degree holder in Science or Engineering related disciplines.
Skillset: Quality control tools, control plan, FMEA, 8D & SPC. 6 sigma Green belt would be an advantage.
