Job DescriptionJOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Sr. Quality Engineer):Reporting to the QA Manager
To assess and recommend to improve effectiveness and efficiency of QC procedures.
Own QA product/process health indicators and dppm reports and analyze QA/ Test and Process failures to drive for systematic corrective actions.
Involve in cross functional teams for product quality and reliability improvement projects/changes in both start-up and sustaining activities.
Defects verification, lot disposition, shipment blocking/approval and generate/closing ICAR.
Responsible for the technical evaluation, NPI support, implementing/ monitoring corrective actions, report generations.
Work closely with NPI Team and co-ordinate with them on the implementation of product to mass production.
Lead on continual improvement activities through defining test/process problems that lead to quality issues by determine root cause & implementation.
Analyze and follow up on all customer reported problems with implementation of containment and corrective actions.
Follow up specific problems as advised by Quality Manager.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Sr. FA Engineer):Perform customers returned transceiver failure analysis and provide root cause and response to customers.
Perform failure verification and failure analysis to customer returned transceivers within the committed times.
Determine the cause of failure and work closely with engineering team for engineering improvements, screening and containment actions.
Supervise technicians and operators for the basic transceiver functional testing.
Work closely with SNY team to provide resolution to customers reported failure.
Maintain the failure analysis database and provide trending analysis and data studies.
Maintain FA instrumentations and propose new methodology of FA techniques and instruments.
Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
Derive Continual Improvement.
Practice Risk Based Thinking in planning and execution of tasks.
Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree in Science/ Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics or Mechanical.
Experience on managing incoming/in-process/outgoing quality related matters.
Understand the mechanical drawing and GD&T.
Knowledge in mechanical CAD software, i.e.
Solidworks, e-drawing.
Good computer literacy and basic SPC knowledge.
Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with hands-on working attitude.
Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
Experience working in high mix and high volume manufacturing environment, and/or assembly, SMT, PCBA manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
