Job SummaryResponsible for procurement, assisting the manager in cost monitoring and control.
Key Responsibilities1. Pre-Contract Stage
Assist in establishing project budget.
Pre-qualification of tenderers: Source and identify suitable tenderers, evaluation and recommendation of tenderers to participate in tender as per tender programme.
Cost analysis: Review pretender estimates, analyse tenders submitted, and carry out elemental cost analysis for building and infrastructure works.
Review tender and contract documents.
Assist in coordination of procurement exercise, which includes calling of tenders, reviewing tender reports, attending tender interviews, negotiating, and finalising awards.
Review and rationalisation of rates.
2. Post Contract Stage
Carry out site valuation and process interim progress claims on a monthly basis.
Review quotations or claims for variation works submitted by contractors.
Review final accounts.
Monitor contractual status.
Assist in cost control by monitoring and evaluating RFVs.
Assist in preparation of financial statements.
3. Others
Prepare quotation documents for minor works and new works.
Collate and compile cost data reports.
4. Comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health, and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company.
5. Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Management.
QualificationsDegree / Diploma / Certificate in Quantity Surveying or Building Technology.
