Senior Quantity Surveyor (Kuching)

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Working Hours:Weekdays From 8 am to 5 pm / 8 am to 12 pm (Sat)
Work Days:Monday to Friday / Saturday (Half Day)
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and project management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of quantity surveying, including cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration.
Prepare and manage cost plans and budgets for construction projects.
Evaluate and certify subcontractor claims and payment applications.
Prepare material take-off (MTO) and ensure minimal material wastage.
Manage project risks, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely project delivery within budget.
Handle negotiation and resolution of disputes with subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: RM 4000 to RM 7500
