JobDescription Projectingcost estimates on various materials needed for aproject.Preparing contracts, legal tenderdocuments, invoices, and otherdocumentation.Track changes to the designand/or construction work and adjust budget projectionsaccordingly.Measure and value the work done onsite.Select and/or source constructionmaterials.Liaising with site managers, siteengineers, and other necessary people to ensure the project followsto the timeline.Prepare tender and contractdocuments, including bills of quantities with the architect and/orthe client.Undertake cost analysis for repairand maintenance project work.Assist inestablishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibilitystudies.Perform risk, value management, andcost control.Advise on a procurementstrategy.Identify, analyze and developresponses to commercial risks.Prepare andanalyze costings for tenders.Allocate work tosubcontractors.Assist clients in locating andaccessing additional and alternative sources offunding.Enable clients to initiateconstruction projects.Advice on themaintenance costs of specificbuildings.Preparation and submission ofbudgetary estimates from tender drawings, Bill of Quantities forall disciplines and costs estimation, progress claim, variationorder, evaluation of claims, etc.Prepare awardof contracts, check contract documents and to recommendcontractor's valuations.Monitor on amendmentsto the scope of works and conditions of contract, variation orderand apply extension of time ifnecessary.Acquire quotation from contractorand suppliers for purpose of cost assessment, analysis orbudgeting.Collaborate with client, consultant,suppliers and sub-contractors.Attend sitevaluation, site measurement and regular meetings whennecessary.Prepare/verify payment certificatesand finalize final account of projects.Keepingtrack of materials and ordering more whenrequired.Requirements Diploma / Bachelor's degree in QuantitySurveying.Strong analytical and criticalthinking skills.Excellent negotiating andinterpersonal skills.Fresh Graduate or 1 – 2years of working experience.Excellent timemanagement skills and ability to multi-task and prioritizework.Attention to detail and problem-solvingskills.Good communications (writing and oral)and interpersonal skills.Strong organizationaland planning skills.Required language(s):English, Bahasa Malaysia,Mandarin.
