Ambu A/S is currently looking for a R&D Test & Verification Engineer to be based in Penang, Malaysia.
This position reports to the R&D Test & Verification Section Manager. If you are from the medical device industry with experience in test & verification, this position would be suitable for you.
Key responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
Participate in the development of product and technical requirements in platform projects and facelifts of existing products.
Develop, execute & document comprehensive test plans and strategies, and develop & build test cases based on the product requirements and usability.
Lead or participate in product design verification activities; example: establish appropriate testing instruction based on user application in testing, root cause investigation when testing failed.
Lead or participate in test method validation to make sure test method is repeatable and reliable.
Develop, upgrade & provide technical expertise input/hands-on related to test equipment or test jigs design (standard and customize) for testing and verification activities.
Suggested candidate profile
Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you:
Master's / bachelor's degree in mechanical/mechatronic/materials or equivalent Engineering.
Minimum 1 years of experience in product development (specification), product design verification (testing) and root cause investigation (failure).
Possess relevant experience from the Medical Device industry example FDA requirements to Design Control, ISO 9001 and ISO13485 is an added advantage.
Experience in statistical tools such as Minitab.
Able to communicate and work across different countries and cross-cultural teams.
Must be open to be involved in different projects and tasks.
Open-minded to new technologies, knowledge sharing, experiences and processes.
Understand documentation work is part of work nature in product development.
Must have a sense of urgency and commitment to task schedules.
