onsemiis looking for a self-driven and motivated professional to join their Test engineering team in Reliability lab. As a Test Engineer in Quality and Reliability testing, you will engage with product/test engineering and Rel BU engineering team to drive Reliability testing readiness for electronic vehicles for discrete, Analog, Logic, and new technologies Hi-current and Hi-voltage modules. Your primary role will be to develop electrical test setups and troubleshoot test routines for automated test equipment in the Reliability lab. You will create test programs for discrete technology products or work with Manufacturing/Product Test Engineering groups to develop appropriate test programs for the designed Interface Hardware for units mounted on PCB cards.
Responsibilities include working closely with Lab Operations to ensure all product and equipment setup issues are attended to in a timely manner with minimal delay. You will also be responsible for the verification/training of the new test designed hardware/program and work closely with Lab operations on execution. Collaboration with respective Vendors/Mfg TE/PE from Test hardware Design to Fabrication is essential to ensure capability is in place per the committed timeline.
ResponsibilitiesProvide Analog, Logic & Discrete testing support on all devices tested, supported or tested on various Analog, Logic & Discrete testers.
Design/Develop or work with Manufacturing/Product Test Engineering groups to create Interface Hardware & Test programs for units mounted on PCB cards.
Critique and constructively challenge the approaches taken to resolve design/technical problems and offer alternative solutions where required.
Develop and provide technical solutions/directions for technicians and supervisors.
Perform other duties as required by immediate superior from time to time.
Qualifications· Bachelor of Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related discipline required.
· Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, preferably in a Test Engineering environment.
· Excellent written and spoken English skills.
· Experience in handling (maintenance, test development in hardware and programming) on Analog/Logic testers (i.e., DTS, PFT, and ETS) & Discrete testers (i.e., TESEC, FET) will be an advantage.
· Minimum experience in people management.
