Our global Subsurface Research Team delivers integrated research, data analysis and industry-leading thought leadership, across the geo-energy landscape, enabling customers to make quicker, more effective decisions.
Reporting into our Subsurface Research Leadership, a Senior Analyst is required to drive our low carbon technologies agenda and develop our research in the APAC region.
Main Responsibilities
Shape and lead our APAC geothermal research
Build and develop a broad and deep relationship network with our customers.
Engage to understand their needs and wants, driving development of our research and offers
Originate and author unique, thought provoking and highly impactful written content
Collaborate across Wood Mackenzie on our initiatives, raising awareness of the subsurface centre of excellence
Supporting the subsurface team vision and agenda and the development of our geo-energy products and services
Embrace, practise and demonstrate Wood Mackenzie's core values on teamwork and collaboration, respect, integrity, fairness and valuing diversity

Qualifications and Capabilities
MSc in a Geoscience or Reservoir Engineering discipline and a post-graduate data science degree.
5-10 years of relevant, professional experience in the energy sector, preferably within the Upstream Value Chain.
Deep interest in, and knowledge of, the global Energy Transition.
Experience in external relationship building and management.
Demonstrable commercial acumen.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Expectations
We are a hybrid working company.
The successful applicant will be required to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment.
Full-time remote working is not an option for this role.
Due to the global nature of the team, a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones.
