We ask employees to be present in the office at least three days per week.Are you ready to bring the right energy to Petrofac and help us deliver a better future for everyone?JOB TITLE: SENIOR RESERVOIR ENGINEER IIKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Member of the subsurface team reporting directly to the Subsurface Team Lead but responsible to Head of Reservoir Engineering.Responsible for performing reservoir engineering scope of work – analyse field data, perform wells and reservoirs studies to define optimum depletion mechanism and development strategy for optimizing production and maximizing the value of the asset.Maintain surveillance programme to manage all PM304 producing reservoirs within reservoir management plan (RMP).Prepare short-term and long-term production forecasts for liftings, budgets and long-term planning.Support and contribute to the preparation of appraisal/development well planning documents as required.Prepare End of Year Reserves and support ARPR process.Maintain reservoir simulation models to support reservoir development, depletion planning and reserves assessment.Ensure integration of and consistency between engineering and geological interpretations by collaborating with reservoir and petroleum engineers, petrophysicists, geologists and geophysicists.Implement reservoir engineering best practices and ensure adherence to company/PETRONAS standards, policies and guidelines.Supervise and mentor less experienced engineers in all aspects of reservoir surveillance and management (if required).Monitor production performance and make recommendations for production optimization.Identify/evaluate production enhancement opportunities and diagnostics of well behaviours.Deliver and monitor reservoir management plan, field-wide surveillance programs and monthly target producing plans.Conduct reservoirs/field development studies (i.e.
analytical and numerical simulation) to define optimal reservoir depletion strategy.Prepare and update Field Development Plan (FDP) documentation for approval as required.Deliver the necessary presentations and documentation for both technical assurance reviews and approval process as and when needed.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Degree in relevant subsurface discipline (reservoir/petroleum engineering) or equivalent.Minimum 8 years relevant practical experience with at least 4 years in reservoir management/surveillance.Good working experience in all aspects of petroleum engineering, field reservoir development and ongoing production management.Practical knowledge of well design and associated flow assurance issues.Experienced in building and maintaining strong relationships with Government, JV partners and Service Providers.Good interpersonal skills, including ability to plan and present a coherent story to both direct reports as well as partners and management.Computer literate and have a strong written and verbal command of English.#J-18808-Ljbffr
