Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Reservoir Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering advanced reservoir engineering solutions, supporting clients, and driving the development of cutting-edge technologies in reservoir modeling and simulation.
Job Description:Provide expert technical support for tNavigator users, addressing inquiries through email, phone, and on-site visits.
Develop and deliver training programs for clients and internal teams.
Collaborate with the development team to drive software improvements.
Work closely with other RFD teams to offer integrated solutions for clients.
Lead and support comprehensive reservoir simulation studies, including data analysis, model construction, history matching, calibration, and forecasting.
Represent RFD at technical conferences and deliver presentations.
Assist Account Managers with technical sales presentations.
Identify and support new business opportunities.
Report to the Technical Manager.
Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in petroleum engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in reservoir and production network modeling, preferably with an operator or service company.
Technical Proficiency:
Extensive experience with reservoir modeling and simulation tools (e.g., tNavigator, Eclipse, CMG, Intersect).
Strong knowledge of production network modeling software (e.g., tNavigator, GAP, Prosper, PIPESIM).
Familiarity with analytical reservoir modeling tools (e.g., tNavigator, MBAL, Saphire, Topaz).
Experience in fracture modeling and simulation tools (e.g., tNavigator, Fracmod, Gohfer, Stimplan).
Preferred: Expertise in Python for automation and data analysis.
Desirable: Familiarity with geological reservoir modeling tools (e.g., PETREL G&G Suites, SKUA, RMS).
EOR Expertise: Experience with EOR modeling in Chemical or Miscible Injection is a plus.
Desirable: Enhanced topics such as complex modelling, geomechanics, CCS, and unconventional reservoir
Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent time management and communication skills in both written and spoken English.
