Conceptualize and develop creative design solutions tailored to client needs, ensuring functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Prepare 3D renderings, technical drawings, and detailed layouts using industry-standard software.
Conduct consultations with clients to understand preferences, budgets, and project requirements.
Present design concepts and material options, addressing client feedback promptly.
Liaise with architects, contractors, suppliers, and in-house teams to coordinate project requirements and ensure seamless execution.
Oversee project implementation to meet timelines and quality standards.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve design-related challenges.
Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering skill development and performance improvement.
Coordinate with the sales team to align design proposals with client agreements.
Stay updated on industry trends and recommend new materials, technologies, and techniques to enhance service offerings.
Maintain accurate documentation of design specifications, client communications, and project progress.
Ensure all designs comply with company standards and industry regulations.
Any additional responsibilities/tasks as delegated by the Management as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail design, particularly in kitchen cabinet, wardrobe, and interior design projects.
Strong portfolio showcasing completed projects in the relevant industry.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 3D Max.
In-depth knowledge of materials, finishes, and space planning.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and project management abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is an advantage.
