The dedicated team in Malaysia is committed to delivering reliable, high-quality solutions that empower clients to thrive in a dynamic and competitive financial landscape.The Risks & Controls team works across 1LoD business units and provides management with an informed opinion on the effectiveness of controls they operate to mitigate material risks.The Risks & Controls Team is a global function responsible for:
Executing the Enterprise Operations Risk Management (EORM) Framework limited to specific programs in order to determine and report an independent point of view of the "Operational Risk Profile" and escalate issues as required.
Challenging the business on their understanding of the risks and adequacy of the controls, inclusive of proactive risk management.
Reviewing and providing assurance that the Operational Risk management practices in their respective businesses are effective, meet CACEIS's enterprise level requirements, and are followed consistently across the business.
Consulting and advising on the design of risk management practices within the Business to effectively identify and mitigate operational risks.
Performing root cause deep dives on Operational Risk Events, identifying process and control gaps, validating action plan proposals for risk mitigation and action plan governance.
Governing the 1LOD framework of process review and control testing to ensure the team delivers the mandate in line with quality and timeline, challenging and identifying areas of improvement on assessment quality and verifying the appropriateness of action plans to be in line with Group's direction.
This role will be responsible for driving data analytics from the capacity of Risks & Controls by retrieving various data sources and analyzing the data using statistical techniques to find opportunities for process optimizations, process efficiency, cost savings and risk reduction.As the Senior Risks Manager, you will analyze, challenge and report an independent point of view resulting in an independent opinion on the Operational Risk profile of assigned risk activities and challenging the Business on their understanding of their risk profile and the status and adequacy of the controls.

Relevant university degree preferably finance or business related.
Level of minimal experience6-10 years
ExperiencePreferably 8-10 years' experience in the financial industry; or
Preferably 6-8 years relevant risk experience.
Comprehensive business knowledge – structure, processes, procedures and technology.
