Senior Sales Engineer Purpose of the roleDuties & Responsibilities Be the single point of contact to existing and new customers to sell Oerlikon coating solutions through regular visits, presentations, technical & commercial discussions, and negotiations. Sustain established business, identify additional business at existing customers and grow sales with new customers by constantly creating new sales opportunities. Be the technical sparring partner to solve customer problems, offer solutions for their pain-points, support in case of quality claims, always seeing challenges as chances. Document customer contacts and visits in CRM system, create valid visit reports and follow up plans to maximise the success rate of identified projects. Develop deep market knowledge and application/ solution know-how to prepare, submit and follow-up quotations. Keep tight connection to internal local and global technical teams, to operations, quality, and internal sales teams. Constantly watch competition and market, identify threads, and develop countermeasures to keep the market leading position. Participate in exhibitions and marketing projects.
