About the role
As the Senior Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales of parts and accessories as the role involves implementing sales strategies and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management - Develop and execute sales strategy to achieve sales target for parts and accessories, identify areas improvement and implement corrective actions, manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of high demand parts while minimizing excess stocks.
Customer Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers and partners, address and resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely manner.
Business Development - Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand customer base, collaborate with the marketing team to design schemes and promotional sales events, stay updated on potential threats and opportunities.
Operational Excellence - Ensure compliance with company policy, implement systems to improve productivity, and work with different functions within the organization.
Product Management - Prepare the sales budget for the parts department, optimize profitability, and develop strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability by introducing new products.
Establish prospects and develop professional relationships to understand customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet those needs.
Aid in and support business development activities for prospects within defined customer segments to support the business strategy.
Prospect bid opportunities, participate in the preparation of bid responses and negotiations with potential customers.
Develop new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.
Identify prospective target accounts and present to the sales business development team.
Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.
Attend trade shows to increase the visibility of the organization and potentially influence prospects.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience in sales
Hunter mindset and aggressive in sales
Meticulous attention to detail
Willing to be based in Penang
