Why this role? As a Modernization Sales Farmer, you will proactively generate leads with existing customers and collaborate with the maintenance team to determine the most optimal approach from a customer perspective. You will be responsible for selling modernizations, full replacements, Advanced People Flow Solutions, and other digital solutions, while also supporting customer budgeting through Asset Management Planning. What will you be doing? Customer Relationship Management:
Proactively develop and strengthen customer relationships within your area of responsibility.
Be accountable for developing KONE's position within your customer base or market area.
Create and communicate leads and sales opportunities to the entire KONE sales team (e.g., cross-selling).
Ensure customer satisfaction and address complaints in collaboration with the KONE team.
Maintain accurate customer data and documentation.
Promote asset management plans to assist customers with budgeting.
Sales Activities:
Generate opportunities proactively from the existing customer base.
Collaborate with the maintenance team for leads, working closely with maintenance technicians.
Be accountable for leads, opportunities, orders/contracts, and meeting sales budget and pricing targets.
Identify customer needs and ensure that KONE's solutions align with those needs.
Handle pricing using approved tendering tools and optimize prices and discounts within your authority.
Validate that contract contents align with negotiation outcomes.
Maintain up-to-date information on opportunities, tasks, and visits, keeping sales funnel data current.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting in CRM.
Gather relevant market and competitor information from the field.
Support the finance function in money collection.
Manage the account throughout the entire sales process.
Ensure the decision to tender is approved by the Gate approver, based on discount authorities.
Be accountable for the project/order until Order Booking.
Drive the execution of your individual sales plan.
Are you the one? Demonstrates strong sales and customer service experience.
Passion and commitment to solving customers' needs.
Familiarity with value selling methodology and complex technology solutions.
Experience with KONE customers' industries is a plus.
Possesses basic English and digital skills with a mindset geared towards innovation.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in the elevator industry.
Holds a bachelor's or master's degree in economics, engineering, or a related field.
