We are currently looking for aSenior Sales Manager, a person who shows the drive to achieve revenue results.
This position reports directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing for the hotel and will be the second in charge of the department.
An individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a prominent member within the industry, you will be confident and driven in your approach. You are business savvy and are known for your ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels. You are detail-oriented and must be able to problem-solve with employees and guests. You must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and be constantly hands-on, ready to lend expertise within other departments of the hotel.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:Strong sense of direction, confidence, and ability to get things done. The success of this position is determined primarily by business numbers.
Able to thrive under performance pressure and persevere, knowing that success requires hard work and focus.
Demonstrate an ability to use Sales Management Systems and Revenue Management systems to make fact-based decisions that benefit profitability and revenue growth.
Proven track record of achieving top line room revenue and capturing STR Market Share.
Ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
Character traits: high energy, commercial business sense, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and ability to improve the bottom line.
Ability to lead a team to dominate the market via active sales calls, prospecting, and face-to-face business conversions.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage. Must possess a valid working permit for Malaysia.
