Responsible for cultivating productive relationships with Key Accounts and Key Prospects in these markets. Maintain an effective tracing system, monitor production all of accounts and discuss appropriate action with Director of Sales & Marketing. Responsible in continually developing business markets and capturing new ones. Submit to Director of Sales & Marketing on a weekly basis, a weekly call plan including sales call objective, sales expenses, etc Totally sell all aspect of hotels operation i.e. rooms, function, groups and banqueting Maintain a regular sales call pattern i.e. minimum 10 face to face calls per week. Attend to relevant correspondence, filing and general administrative function as they arise Travel to national and international sales events, as and when it is required Conduct hotel inspection and regularly entertain present and potential accounts/sources of business. Attend any relevant function and promotions and any in-house function as required Attend and contribute to Sales & Marketing meetings. Assist as required with telemarketing projects / "Blitz's" Ensure Hotel System, sales database and account information is always current and up to date. Financial Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of the annual business plan for the department. Monitor the department's budget and proactively implement corrective action where necessary. Control cost whilst ensuring quality and standards are not compromised. Communication Communicate effectively within the organization at all levels using the most appropriate communication method for the matter concerned. 2.Conduct daily briefings and ensure follow-up.
