This position reports toSales Support Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be given the opportunity to drive the E-House & Electrical solution portfolio of the business. The primary focus of this role will be to work with the sales team in preparing E-House & Electrical technical solutions for Energy Industries (FPSO, Wind Offshore, Petrochemical Industries etc.) customers and presenting the solutions to customers internationally to support the proposal process. You will also be supported by a technical hub of engineers, who will assist you with the technical drafting of solutions. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid. This role contributes to the E-House Business of the Process Automation Energy Industries Division of ABB, Singapore and Malaysia Team.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Leading the virtual team to prepare technical and commercial solutions for electrification solutions such as transformer, switchgear, MV & LV drives, DC & UPS, busduct, cabling system, protection system, current limiter, etc.
Preparing E-House solutions for Offshore & On-shore applications and digital solutions for electrical assets.
Preparing technical and commercial bids for offshore wind substations (OSS) including high voltage GIS & large power transformers.
Working with your sales colleagues to help grow the profitability of the business.
Providing technical support on electrification solutions to hub & global level based on needs.
Attending customer visits with sales colleagues and conducting technical presentations and clarifications on electrification solutions.
Participating in the order negotiation and finalization of projects.
Actively supporting Sales, Front-End-Sales Teams to achieve the local division order booking budget.
Qualifications for the roleYou are highly skilled in design engineering experience ideally in electrical system design including system study, electrical room layout design, SLD design, cable system design, DC & UPS sizing.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, either Bachelor or Technology ideally focused on Electrical.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of electrical design, basic HVAC design and/or structural design as well as in high voltage GIS & large power transformers will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Offshore E-House solutions including offshore class rules like ABS, DNV is a huge advantage.
Possess a solution-oriented mindset and love working on complex projects, driving innovative technical solutions to our customers.
Experience in developing relationships with customers and internal colleagues locally and internally.
You enjoy working in a diversified and complex environment and are at ease in communicating in English.
