About the roleWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Shipping Executive to join our dynamic team at EV Lighting Sdn Bhd, based in Senai, Johor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's import and export operations, ensuring efficient and compliant logistics processes.
What you'll be doing
LMW License knowledge
Oversee and coordinate the complete import and export processes, including customs clearance, shipping, and documentation
Liaise with logistics providers, customs authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery of goods
Analyse shipping data, identify areas for improvement, and implement efficient shipping strategies
Ensure all shipping-related documentation and compliance requirements are met
Provide training and guidance to the logistics team on best practices and industry regulations
Collaborate with the sales and production teams to optimize the supply chain and minimize delays
Stay up-to-date with changes in import/export regulations and customs procedures
What we're looking for
Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior shipping or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
Demonstrated expertise in import and export processes, including customs clearance and regulatory compliance
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Strong analytical and reporting skills to identify and implement process improvements
Proficient in using logistics management software and technologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
Thorough knowledge of relevant import/export regulations and customs procedures
