Develop and implement school-wide policies, curricula, and activities that promote inclusivity.
Mentor and support special needs educators, therapists, and teaching assistants.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Facilitate professional development opportunities, including workshops, seminars, and certifications.
Assist teachers in addressing challenging behaviors or modifying lesson plans.
Guide teachers in implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Assist in managing challenging behaviors, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students and staff.
Respond promptly to emergencies and maintain clear protocols for crises.
Foster an environment that supports acceptance and inclusion within the school and broader community.
Organize awareness campaigns, events, or workshops that highlight the abilities and achievements of individuals with special needs.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of special education, teaching methods, and behavioral interventions.
Bachelor's Degree in Education/Psychology/Special Education.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and manage a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to assess and address the diverse needs of students with various disabilities.
Effective communication skills to build strong relationships with families and external stakeholders.
Problem-solving skills to handle complex situations and implement proactive solutions.
