Senior Staff Specialist, Customs

In your new role you will:As a member of the AP/JP Customs Competence Centre, candidate is expected to initiate, lead, and participate in ad hoc projects as and when required.Customs Governance and provision of consultative advisory for Infineon Companies with complex customs activities, productions sitesGuide, monitor the implementation of Internal Control Programme to ensure customs compliance.Monitor the changes in customs regulations and laws then translate them into operational guidance.Partnership with Customs process owner from Infineon Companies to optimize the processes and work instructions in accordance to Infineon corporate rules regularly.Plan and conduct internal customs audit.Responsible for AEO programme by way of planning, application, audit and renewal of AEO certification.Drive harmonization of local tools and processesPerform Customs Trainings to relevant departments and employees.You are best equipped for this task if you have:Bachelor degree with minimum of 7 years of work experience in Customs Compliance with no lesser than 5 years of experience in management position.In depth knowledge in Customs domain such as HTS Classification, Customs Valuation, Free Trade Agreements, Rules of Origin, various tax regimes, licensed manufacturing warehouses and Free Trade zones.Familiar with Customs regulations of Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
