Role and Responsibilities 1. Project management, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion TNB/NUR Substation .
2. Assemble, coordinate project staff and provide direction and support to the project team.
3. Delegate task and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
4. Plan and schedule project timelines couple with resource allocation.
5. Constantly monitor and report on progress to the Project Manager/Construction Manager
6. Prepare progress reports outlining project progress status, issues arise and mitigation plans.
7. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project output.
8. Document and record all project changes and compile for variation order submission.
9. Identify and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team on timely manner.
10. Coordinate and monitor procurement and engineering progress to align with planned schedule.
11. Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety regulations.
12. Monitor construction project to ensure that procedures, material and equipment comply with approved project plans, specifications and samples.
13. Develop a cost-effective plan and detailed work schedule for completion of project following logical sequence through utilization of resources.
14. Liaise with relevant government agencies and local authorities, to manage the submission and obtain approval.
15. Coordinate and prepare the as-built drawings with the work contractors.
16. Any other ad-hoc projects or duties to be assigned by immediate superior/HOD.
Additional Notes (IF ANY) 1. Candidate must be a graduate with Degree in Engineering (Electrical) from local university or Higher National Diploma for local polytechnic or equivalent. Majoring in Power is an advantage
2. At least 2 years minimum working experience in construction of substation works is required.
3. Have knowledge in Primary Equipment, Secondary Equipment and High Voltage System. 4. Have knowledge on standard substation requirement either TNB or minimum IEC Standard.
5. Posses knowledge construction sequence and civil scope for substation.
6. Required Skill (s) : Ms Office, Ms Project, Auto Cad
7. Preferably senior executive specialized in Engineering – Electrical or equivalent 8. Required language: Bahasa Malaysia & English
9. Highly dedicated, good interpersonal/communication skills, responsible and team focused
10. Willing to be relocate and station on site basis.
