With a product portfolio of more than 120 optical glasses, special materials and components, we master the value chain: from customized glass development to high-precision optical product finishing and metrology.Your ContributionWorks closely with key suppliers and ensure they are adhere to quality standards requirements and practicing continuous improvements for defect prevention, to maximize customer satisfaction.To assess, identify and make recommendations for the area of improvements of key suppliers; works closely with them to incorporate these recommendations.Define key suppliers quality monitoring mechanism, which generate meaningful metrics providing indication of incoming quality.Setup key suppliers KPI monitoring; define periodic reviews, metric and performance indices.Maintain key suppliers' quality performances database (incl.
KPI performance, IQC summary, audit results, quality issues related information, etc.)
for internal monitoring, measurement, analysis, evaluation purposes.Collate and evaluate key suppliers' quality performances; identify and drive the improvement opportunities.Communicate with key suppliers regularly to address any concerns and foster an environment that facilitates continuous improvement in working relationships.Track key suppliers 4M+1E changes and flow the information to internal stakeholder to evaluate if adverse impact observed; act as window person in quality related topic discussion.Support QA in root cause analysis and CA/PA of suppliers' quality issue, communication with suppliers on quality issue as necessary.Define key suppliers audit scope and criteria; coordinate the audit activity.Performs regular system and process audits to ensure key suppliers continue to work in compliance with quality standard requirements.Visits key suppliers facilities and observes the manufacturing environment as necessary, to review and assess the defined resources in place to meet the requirements for the provision of products or services.Issuance of CAR to key suppliers, follow up on the CAR replies and verify the committed actions effectiveness, as necessary.Publish system qualification result; drive for system improvement on the new external provider when required.Have the understanding of the audit process including types of audits, planning, preparation, execution, reporting actions verification, and follow-up.Ensure key suppliers' committed corrective actions and preventive actions are documented as per QMS requirements.
Your ProfileBachelor's degree in engineering, science or qualityPreferably ASQ CQE or Six Sigma Yellow BeltUnderstand organization key processes and its interactions.Good knowledge of ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & IATF 16949.
