Responsibilities & SkillsA successful candidate will join a growing Software department in Penang. Specifically, we are looking for an engineering lead to start a small team in Penang, with focus on modeling the FPGA device databases and developing customer facing tools such as IBIS, SSN and others.
The candidate is expected to work closely with upstream hardware team to drive standardization of collateral to be consumed by software. At the same time, he/she will also be working with downstream development teams to ensure the device databases meet their application requirements. The ideal candidate is expected to be self-driven and motivated SW engineer with strong coding skills in C++, eager to work on new problems, and able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across Lattice. Candidate with more than 7 years of experience is encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related fields.
Required Skillsets:
Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in C++.
Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
Strong Python scripting working experience.
Databases modelling with upstream input collateral standardization.
Familiarity in FPGA software modelling domain will be a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work independently and also in team environment.
Able to provide technical coaching to more junior engineers.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, prioritize appropriately and manage competing priorities.
